Two Thanksgiving Day Games
This was the only time in Citadel Football History that Team played on “two” Thanksgiving Days, in as much as the State of South Carolina had decided to follow President Roosevelt’s decision to observe Thanksgiving Day on November 23 (4th Thursday of month) and the State of North Carolina voted to stay with the 5th or last Thursday of month (November 30th) as had been established by President Lincoln in 1863.
