The CFA joined with the Citadel Athletic Department to provide a complete renovation of the Football Locker Room in Seignious Hall. CFA committed to paying $50,000 toward the initial cost of the state-of-the-art lockers. They are made of stainless steel and a non-porous material that does not allow microbiological contaminates such as MRSA. They have a shoulder pad stand on top, bench seat and locker in the base and the top shelf contains a digital lock box with a charging station for electronics and an electrical outlet. Each locker has an individual nameplate with player name and number, hooks for helmets and cleats and a rod for coat hangers. Lockers are decorated a with Citadel logo. As we continue raising funds for this project we will add padded seats. Sponsored lockers have a sponsor nameplate with up to four lines engraved.
So far CFA members have sponsored forty-one (42) of the one hundred and twenty lockers(120) purchased at a total cost of $173,240.00. Locker sponsorships with individual nameplates are still available for $1,000.00 per locker. CFA will also accept a donation of any amount so you can be part of this important project.
